One of our departments is the Youth Department.
In this department, the youth of our church can understand God in their own way.
On Monday night Bible Study, all the youth in placed in their own youth group.
The younger children learn about the books in the Bible and the prophets. The pre-teens bulid on these things and learn more about what the passages mean. The teenagers learn about how the real life things can be found in the Bible and how they can better themselves in the way that God would want them to be.
Our youth is also involved in the Bible Bowl. We have a youth choir for all ages. They sing on the third Sunday of each month, which is also our Youth Day.
We have three usher boards: Senior, No.2, and No.3 (youth). Each board takes a Sunday. The No.3 have the 1st and 3rd Sunday; No.2, 4th, and the Senior have 2nd Sunday. The usher's of our church serve for the Lord. Their motto to me is that the are there to serve for the Lord.
We have four choirs at our church and they each take a Sunday. We have Male Chorus, Combined, Women's, and Youth Choir.
The matrons of our church are a group of women that help to improve the church and the community. In the beginning of the school year, they organized a School Supply Drive. They took up donations and offers of school supplies. They then gave it to the children of the church and the children of the community, whose parents could not afford to buy any.
Our Tape Ministry provides tapes of the sermon to people that are unable to get out, those that are in the hospital, and those that had to work. These tape are free.
The committees at our church are people that put things together. We have people that are in charge to the kitchen, so when we eat at the church they are there to help. We also have a committee called the Golden Glories. They are Seniors of the church that during the day maybe doesn't have any to do during the day, so they get together and take field trips, to the movies or they will go out to eat, or things to help them get out and around.
